Studio Monies
A fast portfolio site that keeps maintenance simple.
Studio Monies wanted a simple way to publish new work. Together with Vroege Oogst we built a fast Astro site with a compact gallery CMS that optimises images automatically.
The client & context
Studio Monies designs kitchens and interiors and offers sales styling. The studio wanted a website that gives its work plenty of room, without turning maintenance into a weekly chore.
The challenge & our approach
A simple CMS starts with a clear choice. What does Studio Monies want to update, and what does not need to be in the system?
The solution: Together with Vroege Oogst, we reduced maintenance to what is actually needed. The team uploads images for new projects and can take older work offline.
The build: We created a fast Astro site with a small gallery CMS. Each upload is automatically optimised for the website.
The result
A fast website that puts the work first. Publishing a new project starts with uploading the images. The system then prepares them for the site.
