A smooth site for drinks, cocktails and parties in Ommen.
De Vrienden Social Club wanted their online presence to match the club itself. We built a fast WordPress site with an in-house events tool and a clear menu — easy to maintain, modern to use.
The client & context
De Vrienden Social Club is the place for a good drink, cocktail nights and great parties in Ommen. The old website no longer matched the club’s new look and feel. With more events on the calendar, they urgently needed an up-to-date agenda and a clear menu.
The challenge & our approach
The new site had to feel smooth and modern for both younger and older visitors. The team also needed a simple way to add events quickly — matching how they actually work day to day.
The solution: We used a familiar WordPress setup as the foundation and built an in-house events tool that fits their workflow seamlessly.
The design: Together with Vroege Oogst (who delivered the new brand identity and web design) we built a modern, stylish custom theme on Divi 5. The team can update content easily without sacrificing speed.
The result
A fast, responsive and beautiful website that shows at a glance what’s on at the club.
